The first merger will face forwards and will use an elevator to take the rods under the next line of constructors. The other two columns will have mergers flowing to the left to feed into this merger. So in-front of the constructors in the first three columns you will need mergers. One line will go off to produce screws and the other will carry the already produced rods to the assemblers to become rotors.
